USD 400 million to TSKB World Bank credit

The Prime Minister’s Treasury Consistency signed on June 7, 2018 with the World Bank (IBRD - International Bank of Reconstruction and Development) with a $400 million of US Dollars with the "Container Finance Access Project" credit contract.

    The credit provided within the scope of the project will be used under two themes, including the financing of companies operating in the areas of private sector firms and temporary protection, supporting the participation of the woman across Turkey and providing the appropriate working environment. At least 60 percent of the loan is intended to be transferred to SMEs. [

    The World Bank Turkey Director Johannes Zutt, who participated in the ceremony, said: “As the World Bank, we are pleased to provide support for two different segments that are restricted to long-term financing access in Turkey, along with TSKB.. This project will also provide support to TSKB and vehicle banks, companies managed by women, as well as companies operating in areas with high refugee population.
