The mobile communication systems in Turkey entered into service from 1994 to 2006 until 14 billion dollars were excluded. Since December 2005, the number of mobile phones registered with IMEI numbers in the Mobile Device Registration System in the Information Technology and Communication Authority (BTK).

From 1994 to 2006, the damage of Turkey reached 14 billion dollars due to mobile phones thrown into trash for various reasons. [

The removal of cell phones damage to nature and human health as well as the economy.. Therefore, it is important to ensure the recycling of mobile devices.

The company "Exitcom", which operates in Turkey, Germany and Hong Kong in terms of recovery of electronic waste (e-waste) has collected about 1305 tons e-waste, which has computer and white goods since 2003 in Turkey. These wastes that the company returns only consist of 3.5 tons of mobile phones.

According to the information provided by the company authorities, the recycling rates of mobile phones are watching very low levels in Turkey as in Germany.

56 percent of the content of mobile phones with 300 materials in mind, 5 percent metals, the remaining part consists of LCD display and liquid crystals, which are not capable of recycling.

The removal of cell phones damage the environment and human health due to metals such as copper, nickel, silver, lead/tin solders, anti-burning, epoxy, cobalt, sincelyum, lead and nickel-collect.

The batteries of cell phones entering the recycling system, in battery production and stainless steel casting, metals in electronic and medical sector, plastic parts are used in making traffic cones, plastic fences and vehicle buffers. (aaa)
