]It is called " modified organism" (GMO) to plant, animal or microorganisms, which are replaced by gene transfer from a living outside of its type or its own type. [[T][4]
[The use of products with GMO is a dangerous experiment on people, animals and nature. The results that will appear when many products like soy, corn and cotton are played with genetic codes are not yet exact and clear. Despite these risks that we cannot control, genes are integrated to these products. Yet our world is not a laboratory held under control.
modified organisms affect not only those who consume them, but all the nature scheme. GMOs attract more minerals than planting soils, in the same region, they lead to depletion of resources with the addition of the same product continuously. In short, a company that uses products with GMO leaves the land of the neighbor as well as poor in terms of natural minerals.
Two different types of materials are used in generic play. Herbicides developed to destroy unwanted plants in the environment, secondly, developed pesticides in order to destroy animals called unwanted and harmful in agriculture.
These substances are forced to change the character of nature, in that region, because they affect not only pests, but all plants and animals. In time, nature continues to re-type animals and plants, which are called harmful, as it adapts to such substances. As a result of this cycle, more powerful drugs always have to use more chemicals. [
Although products with GMO are claimed to last hunger in the world, the reason for hunger is that food is not insufficient, the fair share of the produced is insufficient to access the ground, water and sufficient income. Even unlike this claim, genetically modified products, expensive seed prices, and multi-volume pesticides are caused by the need for starving problem and unended if.
Status in Turkey
]In March 2010, Biosafety Act was accepted by the Assembly. In March, against the adoption of the law, it entered into force in 26 September 2010. In this process, the products of many companies using raw materials based on GMO production were consumed by the public.
In foods containing GMO with myosecure Act, this rate was put on nine in a thousand, if the label is required u. However, companies did not comply with this standard. The administrative mechanisms to control this standard were not created by the government.
] [At the moment, the GMO agricultural production in our country is prohibited. However, a while ago, the Biosafety Board opened the public opinion by publishing scientific risk and socio-economic evaluation reports, prepared in relation to import genetically modified 10 corn varieties for more feed purposes. [
Biosecured Board pay attention to the fact that the report on 13 corn varieties, which has opened the public opinion, and the decisions given in accordance with these reports are the only type. Earlier, the genetics presented to the public opinion have changed 3 types of corn and the total of the Sosyo Economic Committee reports on the 10 types of corn, which opened to the public opinion as of September 21.
The reports released from the single pen are giving birth to the birds that the genetically modified products do not comply with the legal legislation. Despite the preparation of separate reports for each gene, the report content is the same as the mold except the name of the corn gene. The only type of application in reports and decisions gives the impression that the same committee on all genes is decided.
After receiving public opinion on these reports, the final decision is expected to be published in the Official Gazette. Thus, the genetically modified 3 soy varieties allowed to import earlier, the public opinion will have a total of 16 types of GMO products in total, including 3 types of corn. 12 October 2011, the use of products with GMO can become legal if there is not enough opinions from the public until 17 hours.
