The General Directorate of Environmental Management, the General Directorate of Oil Industry Association (PETDER) and the General Directorate of Wooding and Erosion Control, signed a protocol that predicts the planting of a filament for each waste engine oil collected.

[ [" will pay 75 thousand pounds for saplings to be planted in exchange of waste engine oils consisting of PETDER, public institutions and organizations with work called a Barrel Tree Project".
The General Directorate of Wooding corresponding to this payment will make treeing and maintenance work in the provinces to be determined. The project will also be awarded certificates for participating in waste engine oil delivery.
The project aims to planted 30 thousand seedlings in two years, trees of a total of 25 thousand square meters in five years.

] PETDER, which is authorised in September 2008 to perform waste engine oil collection activities across Turkey, in 2009, was collected from industrial organizations with military troops, municipalities and various public institutions and organizations, and 7 percent of the waste engine oil were brought to the economy for energy recovery.
The collected waste engine oils are equivalent to 193 million kilowatth electric energy per year, 83 thousand people can meet the need of 1 year electrical energy.
In the framework of the work done byPETDER since 2004, it was collected from July 2010 to 80 thousand tons of waste engine oil and recovered as energy and raw material in licensed enterprises.
