Unilever managed to record progress in global diameter, despite the harsh conditions created by the coronavirus for a year after its commitment. Accordingly;
Home Unilever’s use of recycled plastic after consumer (PCR) increased about 75 thousand tons. This figure coincides with more than 10 percent of the total amount of plastic footprints of the company, resulting in an important increase in PCR use compared to 2019. This has provided the company to save a strong progress in the aim of using PCR at least 25 percent in all packages up to 2025. Unilever aims to double the existing PCR usage within the next 12 months.
Home The company also implemented ice cream container innovation, produced from recycled paper to ensure that the net plastic use is performed by approximately 4500 tons of plastic per year.
