Turkey’s first ‘ecological’ village
The first Ecological Village of Turkey will be installed in Van. The project that will be installed on 12 acres land will consist of elements such as Sun House, Perma Agriculture, Hay House, fertilizer from domestic wastes will be achieved and the metan gas in the foeptic will be converted into energy. According to the news contained inDIHA, Van’s project is comprised of 5 main elements designed to be installed on 12 acres land in the field of Sapling. Sun House, Hay Bale House, Heat Wall House, Compost House, Sustainable Agriculture (Perma Culture) items will be obtained from natural roads in the village. [
Solar House designed to build two floors on the ground, will take all energy from the sun. Designed to meet the needs of hot water and warm water with a twenty- eight square meters solar collector area, the Solar House designed to be used in cooking food in the kitchen is designed to meet the methane gas obtained in foeptic pits. In addition, cooling chimneys in the house can also be used for summer cooling operations, using solar energy. It is designed to include exhibitions and seminar rooms on sustainable agriculture (perma culture) and ecological living alongside kitchens, general toilets and bathrooms.
The Hay Bale Home (Straw Bale House) which is previously referred to in Turkey and is considered the most ecological and cheap housing example.. The building, which will make thermos effect with the thickness of the exterior, attracts attention with the warm holding feature in the summer cool winter. When the building consumes structural life, it will be mixed without any damage to nature.

Natural fertilizers will not be used in the sustainable agricultural field and no other fertilizer for production outside this.
