]Rio+20 announced the best practices to represent Turkey in the United Nations Sustainable Development Conference][
The best practices to represent Turkey in Rio+20 United Nations Sustainable Development Conference (Rio+20) sustainable development and green economy applications in June 2012. [
T.C. In coordination with the Ministry of Development and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) facilitator, the successful practices of Turkey were selected with the support of the Business World and Sustainable Development Association (SKD). The Best Country Practices that supports the concepts of ‘Sustainable Development’ and ‘Green Economy’ from the business world; public institutionsThe project and programs conducted by universities and non-governmental organizations were determined.
]Mehmet Ceylan, Deputy Minister of Development to the meeting where the best practices to represent Turkey in the Rio+20 Summit, joined the SKD President Galya Frayman Molinas and the United Nations Development Program Mukim Representative Shahid Najam.
[The Deputy Minister of Agriculture Mehmet Ceylan expressed that the experience in the sustainable development of our country arises with sample applications and highlighting the importance of carrying them into international platforms:
[“ Sustainable development based on social and economic development, the understanding of the protection of life-supporting environmental resources, has not been carrying out the meaning of giving up prosperity growth as it is not anti economic growth Tags. Sustainable development is to guarantee the future ongoing of economy and social development in reality.
In other words, from today to the future, to protect the rights of our children born today. In this regard, we will provide serious progress in the sustainable development path when we turn from individual to society, environment-sensitive behavior formats and preferences into lifestyle.
The leadership and guidance of the Ministry of Development in the Rio +20 Summit is prepared intensively with the broad participation and contribution of all relevant parties. In Rio+20 Summit, our country will take place as a global actor that aims to contribute to the solution of deepened global problems to the maximum extent proportional to country facts.
The best practices of our country show that we can capture the right whole in our country for an environmentally friendly development. As part of our national vision to offer the Rio+20 Summit of our country, our country will be an indication of the experience in this field and will create examples in the development that can be maintained to other countries. "
