Plant diversity of Turkey

Adana - President of the Bird Research Association Osman Erdem said that it was announced as the International Biological Diversity Year by the United Nations (BM) of 2010.

Erdem said that Turkey is a rich country in biological diversity, noted:

Endemic plant type in Germany is only 3. The total number of plants in Greece is over 3 thousand. Turkey is one of the most important gene centers of earth.
