Our motor in Turkey is passing on April
]24 January 2011 Radikal
Stop sales in dealers as of 1 April 2011 of 1000 PPM engine known as high sulfur motor or rural motor, especially for clean environment. [[T][4]
[The sale of rural engine from refinery as of January 1, 2011 in Turkey and the imports associated with it stopped. The sale of rural engine will not be sold by distribution companies since 15 February, will not be sold in fuel dealers since 1 April 2011.
So the highest sulfur rate in automotive fuels will be applied as 10 PPM (1 million litres of sulfur in engine and gasoline, if the low sulfur motor is passed from 1st April in Turkey.
The oil Industry Association (PETDER) published a report on the environmental impact of low and high sulfur engine. According to the report, the harmful compounds in which the spit occurs as a result of burning, are mainly composed of SOx (polluters) and particulate substances. Naturally reducing the amount of sulfur in fuel also directly leads to the reduction of emissions of these harmful substances in the exhaust release.
In2002, when using a total of 210 MilliJul (MJ) energy to fold a distance of 100 kilometers in the entire production and distribution chain of the engine used, this data fell up to 195 MJ/100 kilometer of last year as a result of technological developments in the quality of the motor of the oil industry. In terms of greenhouse gas emissions, this difference means at least 10 percent carbon dioxide emissions reduction for each restricted mileage.[
LOWER DRIVER OVER 100 BASE OF THE GROWING ENGINE
]Raporda is indicated that the sulfur rate in the engine will be less than 10 PPM, the amount of sulfur and particles released into the atmosphere will be less than 9 thousand 900 tons each year.
According toRapora, in 2009, 10 million tons of rural engines were consumed in Turkey. If the low sulfur motor of 10 PPM instead of the rural engine was consumed, in 2009, 10 thousand tons of sulfur would be released only 100 tons of sulfur.
It has been used in TURKEY in 2004 in Turkey
]]] Low sulfur engine has been launched in Turkey since 2004 and is increasingly consumed in increased quantities. Especially new generation diesel engine vehicles can only be used in low sulfur motor (total sulfur quantity 10 PPM). In the engine, low sulfur fuels for new generation diesel vehicles from one side of 2004 are presented to the market, commercial vehicles, trucks and buses, which are on the other hand, are gradually gone to the sulfur limit in the rural motor, which is widely used in the truck and buses, and the sulfur rate is downloaded from 7000 PPM to 1000 PPM.
The sulfur ratio in low sulfur motor is also downloaded from 500 PPM to 10 PPM.
The motor is in the case of the most widely used fuel in automotive fuels with annual consumption of 16 million cubic meters. In the last 10 years, the average consumption showed 6 percent increase as a result of the increase in the number of vehicles, as well as the prevalence of diesel engine vehicles.
Why LOW MOTOR?
According to theRapora, the price of the low sulfur motor in the pump is more expensive than the rural engine, due to the tax differences between both products.
The difference between the two types of engines when connecting the TV and VAT is 8,3 because of the tax. In other words, if there was no tax difference in two products, today the price difference in the pump would be around 1-2. In the report stated that each product is a small difference so that the product will not care about the environmental impacts, “We expect this process to start before a moment we see quite important in terms of environment and human health asPETDER”.
