Turkey Business Bank has committed to supporting the transition to carbon-free economy by adding a new to its framework of surge vision. According to the statement made from the bank, by the Business Bank, the United Nations (BM), the member banks have become a member of the Net-Class Bank (Net-Zero Banking Alliance-NZBA) established to enable their portfolio in line with the Paris Climate Agreement by 2050. Net-Class Banking Association, announced with the participation of 43 steps in April 2021, currently in almost 40 percent of global banking with more than 100 members from 40 countries. The Business Bank signed the Principles of Banking (PRB–Principles for Responsible Banking in 2020 with the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative. Responsible Banking Principles offer a comprehensive framework for the banking sector, including strategy, portfolio and operations. WEPs, which was announced as a result of cooperation with the UN Global Compact, the United Nations Social Gender Equality and the Strengthening Unit of the Woman (UN Women), encourages the development of policies and programs to strengthen the work for gender equality of the private sector, to enable women to take more space in all levels of business life.
