The perseid meteor rains, one of the most interesting events for the cold wonders, can be watched at Ankara University Rasathane at 11-12 August nights.
Ankara University Rasathane Teaching Officer Yahya Demircan said that every year observed in July-August and reached the highest number in the meteor rains of perseids, which reached the maximum number on August 11-12.
The Ironcan, which tells the Persian meteor rains not to do with stars, expressed that meteor rains were formed by entering the world atmosphere of large skystones, which are filled in different orbits around the sun.
Demircan said, "The skystones that quickly enter the atmosphere and heat the result of friction, appear in the form of short-term very bright light slip."
The source of dust particles, which constitutes the meteor rain of Perseid, ironcan, indicating that the Swift-Tuttle tailed star, which was filled in 130 years around the sun, said, "The average of the world's atmosphere is 50 kilometers/second quickly entering these particles, reflected above 100 kilometers from the ground, resulting in this magnificent visual feast."
Demircan said that in the case of long-term monitoring of meteor rains throughout the night, all of the meteors came from the same point in the sky: [
"Perseid is predicted that the meteor rain reaches the maximum density of 11-12 August at an average of 100 meteors per hour. However, we should not forget that this number is the number that can be reached in the best observation conditions. Weather conditions (clouds, air pollution, mist and so on) quantity of light pollution and the universe of Moon... A Moon, especially located in the full moon stage and near the region, will greatly reduce the number of meteors you can browse. "
