Integrated Forest Management Project draws attention to forest fires
The forest areas that allow people to maintain their lives of 1.6 billion in the world have vital importance for blocking global warming. The protection of forest areas is an important contribution to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

]Integre Forest Management Project] focuses on issues such as biological diversity and sustainable forestry, as well as climate change. The new video prepared under the project is alerts for the prevention of forest fires while informing about the forests of our country.

- There are about 22 million hectares forest areas in Turkey. This forest area covers 28% of country facial measurement.
- Eastern Mediterranean, Aegean, Marmara and West Black Sea regions are among the sensitive regions of the forest fire in our country.
- Around 60% of forest areas in Turkey are in fire sensitive areas.
