'Hayalet networks' is recycled

Networks are transformed into products that are needed especially during coronavirus outbreak. With this project called ‘Unfair Seas’, the Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF) is giving back conversion and design company named Qualy. The company also produces many different objects of siperities and many different objects, which are often used in pandemide instead of grounding and pen. [

Within the scope of the project, 15 tons of 'hayalet network' was collected in the openings of Thailand in one year. But according to the data of the United Nations Food and Agricultural Agency, the amount of network thrown into the seas every year and not collected is 640 thousand tons. The environmental divers and recycling companies included in the project are called to make more effort to collect and recycle these deadly inert networks.
