The united Nations (BM) presented stunning data on the dimensions of the climate crisis by publishing 2023 Emission Zone Report. According to the report, the amount of greenhouse gas released this year in the world has been recorded as 57.1 gigaton, reaching the highest level ever. This rate shows an increase of 1.3 percent according to last year and increases pressure on global warming.

The source of carbon dioxide emissions: Large economies]
] The report reveals that about three emissions are caused by only six countries or regions (US, China, India, European Union, Russia and Brazil). The report released by the UN Environmental Programme (UNEP) highlights that these countries need to apply more stringent policies to lower the carbon footprint. [

]‘No Empty Laf – Please!’: The effort to limit global warming with 1.5 degrees
In the report ‘No Empty Laf – Please!’, the world leaders were called for more serious and quick actions against climate change. According to the Paris Climate Agreement signed in 2015, countries had a commitment to limit global warming with 1.5 degrees compared to the pre-industrial period and hold under 2 degrees. However, the report considers that the world will heat 3.1 degrees to the end of the century in case of driving existing trends. The UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, reportedly: “Rekor emissions led us to reach record levels in ocean temperatures. This situation triggers strong hurricanes, translating forests into the fire ball and transforming cities into almost sauna. Extreme precipitation has now become an understanding of flood disasters described in scriptures.” Guterres stressed that global climate crisis has severe effects on our daily life.

BM: The biggest effort ever to reduce emissions]
UNEP President Inger Andersen also stated that in response to the climate crisis all countries should be mobilized. Andersen said, “Each degree of warming, protecting human life, keeps economy stable, prevents environmental destruction and protects biological diversity.” The report points out that more wind and solar energy use can provide four of the necessary emissions reduction. It is also noted that greenhouse gas emissions can be blocked in five parts of unity in case of stopping forestless. These requirements will be held once again at the UN Climate Conference in Baku, Azerbaijan in November.

Even global warming can reach 2.8 degrees]
] In the report, all countries in the current conditions are indicated that global warming can be between 2.6 to 2.8 degrees even if the climate targets are u. A warming at this level can lead to serious rise of the sea level, increase in extreme temperature and nature events, and the risk that some regions become unexperienced. This can cause deep crisis in vital areas such as agriculture, health and water resources.
[
What is an infant?]
]The UN Emission Assembly Report is prepared by hundreds of scientists every year and reveals the difference defined as the ‘impact deficit’ to evaluate how close the greenhouse gas amount of the previous year is approached to the goals of the Paris Agreement. Emission deficit refers to the difference between climate action and existing actions. This difference in 2023 shows that the country’s promises are more likely to act faster. In the light of these details, 2023’s Emission Apparatus Report emphasizes that it should take stronger and quick steps to cope with the climate crisis. Considering this report of the world leaders, it is necessary to take concrete steps such as transition to renewable energy to reduce the effects of climate crisis.
