“An approach to reshaping the economy and the environment in the face of the increasing threat of the crisis of hope, covering the entire society and all stages of the state continues to be the only option we have.” This warning is included in the World Environment Program (UNEP) Global Environmental View 7 report on the Future. The report calls for a global change in the name of a healthy planet and ‘being for each other’. The report prepared by 287 scientists from 82 countries is detailing the destructive effects that the country will trigger climate change if they are not met to convert systems such as energy and food.

The change will reduce 4 percent of global national income up to 2050 [
[[T]]Inger Andersen, the Executive Director of the Unified Nations Environment Program, “If we choose to stay on the current road, that is, if we continue to run our economies with fossil fuels, remove raw resources, destroy nature, pollute the environment, lose losses.” In the report, the global annual GSYH (also Safi Domestic Hasila) will reduce 4 percent of climate change up to 2050, and the warning that it will cost millions of lives and climb the mandatory migration. Unless the climate change has been addressed ‘One-on-one attacks’, the collapse of ice layers will turn almost into reality; food availability will be reduced and hundreds of millions of hectar will lose more natural space. However, approximately 9 million early deaths can be avoided by investing at an appropriate level; the large part connects to the reduction of air pollution. Approximately 200 million people also get rid of excessive poverty, 300 million people can access safely managed water sources. In the report, this will require significant initial costs, but the global macroeconomic benefits of this path will start to be seen from 2050 and 2070 per year, it is also noted that 20 trillion dollars (about 17,19 trillion euros). How to invest in the world climate action?
Inger Andersen said, “This new journey starts to go beyond GSYH as the criteria of economic well-being.” Science argues that inclusive indicators that also monitor the health of human and natural capital are much more effective in guiding economic and business world decisions. Science people also called transition to ‘repair footprint’ cyclic economy models and quickly purify the energy system from carbon. This requires not to go away from fossil fuels that contribute to the most of greenhouse gases. And this is not an easy task. Earlier this year, the so-called oil states blocked the gradual release of fossil fuels to the final agreement of COP30’s (2025 UN Climate Change Conference), including the road map, which means that the path to a more green energy future remains outside the jurisdiction of the UN. Transition to sustainable nutrition habits, reduction of waste, improvement of agricultural applications and the expansion of protected areas while repairing impaired ecosystems was also determined as the main driving forces of change. Andersen completed his words as follows: “My word is always difficult, even harder when it’s on a large scale. But we have to change. There are two futures in front of humanity. Select the right one. ”
