In this context, “European Union Environmental Awards” was held in Brussels in two years of the framework of the “Green Week” organized in June every year of the European Commission General Directorate of Environment.
European Union Environmental Awards are held within a number of national environmental awards held in the EU in the process of participation with 27 Member States. Only nationally awarded companies get the right to compete in the European Union Environmental Awards. The provision of awards for the Turkish Programme will be within a reward shooter by the Environmental Platform for the REC Turkey and Sustainable Development. In addition, companies that deserve to be awarded in the Turkish Programme have seen the right of free use at every stage of intellectual communications work for 3 years to start with the award of the European Union Environmental Awards – Turkey Program Logo.

European Union Environmental Awards – Turkey Program is given in four categories:
1. Management Prize

]4. International Cooperation Award

[[Who can apply?]]
]]European Union Environmental Awards – Turkey Program can apply all commercial businesses registered and operated in Turkey. Foreign and multi-national companies can also apply businesses in Turkey.
Applications will be made under two main categories, including “COBI*” and “Great Business”. SMEs have less than 250 employees, less than 50 million Euros per year, or the presence of net balance is less than 43 million Euros, less than 25% of their shares should be applied in SME category of businesses that do not carry SME qualifications.
Great Businesses; larger businesses operating outside SME definition need to apply in Large Businesses category. [
The participation of Organizations (Public Intelligence/Community) and Civil Society Organizations can also apply for a public iktisadi inflection/teşebb (KİT). Public organizations and local governments build business businesses to carry out outdoor benefit. All these businesses that call public economic intelligence and operate commercially are the right to participate in the European Union Environmental Awards – Turkey Programme
