Environmental protection is one of the most important issues. The environment minimize business processes not only with economic and challenging aspects, but also in terms of social dimensions, environmental factors and risks. [[

[[

Our bank credited investment projects from 1980s, environmental issues have always been into into consideration. In parallel with the review in the world, a project started in 2005 to establish an Environmental Management System (ÇYS) covering banking activities, taking into account the rising environmental responsibility in the banking sector. We are very grateful to the German Development Bank KfW that supports us in the launch and the interface of this project.

Banking create direct environmental impact on small scale, especially compared to the industrial sector. Banking services do not leave a pollution (waste or harmful gas emissions), but should not be considered, there are indirect environmental risks caused by credited investment projects.

[

AtTSKB, ÇYS studies start to share the scope of work and environmental awareness with all our employees. Why did we start a project on the environment as a non-waste institution like waste, toxic gas, industrial solid waste? These topics were addressed in the management phase with a number of meetings made with all sizes, and the ÇYS Team, which is of responsibility of the search unit in our Bank, started to work.

As a Team, we have identified what kind of environmental impacts by reviewing our banking activities and accessible the following results:

]

1. Direct environmental effects of TSKB:

  1. The energy consumptions, which are implemented as a result of labor travels, activities in conquest, and significantly revealing CO2 emissions.
  2. water consumption.
  3. ]
  4. Papers used in office environment for printing, reporting. [
  5. used plastic packaging.

2. Indirect environmental effects of TSKB:

means to environmental risks caused by investment projects that are rejected. As a bench, crediting activity in a wide range of sectoral distribution from chemistry to energy, packaging to iron-steel sector was distributed out and different risk sizes were produced according to the technical dynamics of the sector and investment Tags. The approach here is to analyze the environmental investment and plan and perform together with the main investment of the environmental investments.

  1. Environmental Risk Analysis: The environmental risk you and the environmental conflictness of investments,[

  3. Environmental Risk Management: reduction of environmental risks in environmental investments or directing investments to conflict limits.

What is the environmental risk?

[

The environmental risk for an investment benches of 3 risks in the application of credit-based investment projects

    [
  1. Natural effect to be given to the environment: waste caused by production activities, toxic wastes, toxic...
  2. [
  3. Risk and problem that the company will face against potential pollution to be given to the environment, alerts, conflict with laws.
  4. The risk that the financial institution will encounter: the investment cannot start production at the prescribed time, due to environmental risks that will occur during production, delays that will occur in the credit payment plan with financial institution, as a result of all of them, the financial institution has credited a financial and spiritual (like being credited by a company that polluts the environment).

Within the framework of the environmental impacts ofTSKB, ]] Our Environmental Policy]]] was created and approved by our Bank’s Board on June 1, 2006 Tags. Three-level documentation structured and projected by reference to our Environmental Policy:

Results:[

They are made under the CYS Project for our direct and indirect environmental impact on our bench: [

  1. The efficient use of natural and exhaustible resources used in our office buildings, the collection of recyclable materials (paper, plastic, metal, computer waste and battery) and regenerating the economy, removal data inventory on these parameters,
  2. The calculation of the CO2 emissions generated in the form of travels and at the time,[
  3. For electrical time, sensory lightings, eco-based lamps...
  4. Review of fixtures to prevent unified water consumption,

  6. Package treatment for domestic waste, which is derived from the kitchen and is directly given to the restoration.
  7. The application ofEmergency plans and the first time on our Bank 'fire'

]]Environmental Risk Assessment Model]

]

The environmental risk analysis in the model is irresistible in two pens as the company and project. Within the scope of the company, the environmental risk of the existing of the institution to be credited is observed. This domain is part of Sales Program by Alanadları.com.

This model is based on the analysis of all risks related to environmental, work and labor health and safety, which is expected on the company and project basis. It is used in all credit applications on certain you by the bench, the assessments of 3 main limits:[

]
  1. The environmental impact
  2. ]
  3. The role of management in the case of environmental impact
  4. ]
  5. ]The frequency of being environmental impact
]

The answer is with 4 different points system, including 1, 2, 3, and three different environmental risk results in the form of A, B, C.

As aTSKB, we can expect our goal under ÇYS as continuous self-development and improvementmen Tags. To take less impact on the environment, to take into account the environmental situation in our crediting and decision making processes, to improve the model and application we do in this frame is our primary topics. In addition, as a investment and development bench, we are our most important mission to share our experience with all our invention and carry the world with better environmental conditions. [
