Azerbaycan’s capital was held in Baku, COP29 (The Framework of Change of the Framework Agreement 29’s Parties Conference) on the ninth day of the Climate Summit attracted attention to the events that discuss the contribution of the sustainable development goals of the tourism sector and negotiations with demanding climate financing. The ‘Powered Climate Action in Turism, held in Green Zone in Baku: Innovative Solutions and Forward Road’ panel discusses carbon emissions reduction in the industry, supporting local economy and cultural heritage protection targets. However, these discussions did not eliminate the question marks on the competence of the current conversion speed of the sector.
