International Labor Organization (ILO) released a report that climate change creates serious health risks for global workforce. According to ILO data; 70 percent of global labor force is subject to health hazards due to 2,4 billion workers climate change. In the last published report, 22.87 million occupational injuries, due to 18 thousand 970 people lost their lives and 2.1 million workers remained disabled. ILO said, "A few people die from pesticide poisoning, workplace air pollution, sun UV radiation and parasitization and vector-source diseases."

The report recorded more than 18 thousand 960 workers annually due to the UV radiation of 1.6 billion employees and skin cancer.. In addition, 1.6 billion people were exposed to air pollution in the workplace, and in the open air employees, up to 860 thousand workers lost their lives. In the report indicated that more than 300 thousand agricultural workers lost their life due to pesticide poisoning, 15 thousand workers were killed because they were exposed to parasites and vector-borne diseases.
