Clean water crisis
14 May 2012 Republic
]The World Health Organization (WHO) reported that the United Nations did not reflect the actual size of the forecasts in clean water problem.
Ban Ki-mun, Secretary General of the UN in March, reported that there were only 800 million people with improved water resources worldwide. This statement expressed a reduction of about 2 billion people meant that the UN carried out the Millennium Development Goals. However, the World Health Organization authorities say that this statement does not mean that the accessed water is clean, the large part of these resources may also be dirty. [
According to the news ofBBC English, the water sources of the organization are not possible to cut how many people are deprived of clean water, but the number can be between 1 to 4 billion. A 4 billion mass means that half of the world population is not clean water access.
]The misunderstanding of the fire is caused by the expression that Ban uses. According to the BM terminology, improved water resources mean the removal of water from pipes or animals. But it does not mean that the water passes through the pipe, it is clean.
The tests performed in Nikaragua show that 'yield water sources' is only 30 percent of the internal quality.
