The United Nations Deserting Convention (UNCCD) Summit, held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, discussed solution recommendations against increased deserting and drought problems worldwide. According to the report, 77,6 percent of the world lands become more dry over the last 30 years, this trend threatens human life seriously.

The world is fastened]
] According to the report on the milestone in the United Nations Deserting Convention Summit, more than 40 percent of the world territories are formed and this situation is becoming increasingly worse. When agricultural production drops due to drought, water resources are minimized and food safety is risked. The report reveals that the effects of drought in regions such as South Europe, Middle East, North Africa and south Asia are more pronounced. In the report, 2024 is indicated to be the hottest year recorded. If existing trends continue, it is estimated that 5 billion people will be directly affected by deserting. President of UNCCD Ibrahim Thiaw expresses that the more dry lands redefined life on the world. [

]The effects of dry soil
UNCCD’s Head Science Human Barron Orr warns that drought restrict access to water sources and this situation can approach people and nature irreversible patrol points. The dryness of soils leads to the fall of agricultural yield, the food smear of farm animals and the threat of food safety. These problems increase the risk of irregular migration and social serenity while compelling economic development in many regions.

international cooperation requirement for breeding and deserting
At the peak of Riyadh, it highlighted that international cooperation and financing should be increased against drought and deserting. Saudi Arabia hosted the peak by commiting $2.15 billion to endurance projects in this field. The development bank network, also called the Arabian coordination group, announced that it will take 10 billion dollars of funds for fighting land and deserting, which is deteriorating up to 2030. These funds are expected to support the preparation of the most fragile 80 countries. According to the report of UNCCD, there are binding protocols between the most controversial issues in the fight against fraud. A binding protocol requires that advanced countries provide more funding and take responsibility in the fight against fraud.

The methods of watering with data should be common]
The report advises the improvement of land usage applications primarily in the fight against tampering, growing less water consuming products and expanding efficient irrigation methods. The establishment of better monitoring systems for large-scale wooding projects and community planning is also among other important points highlighted in the report. Andrea Toreti, from the heads of the report, expressed that the struggle for deserting and drought, the climate change and biological diversity loss requires international coordination. Toreti spoke to “We can overcome this problem with a strong collaboration and unwinding stability.”
