Bolivya government launched a re-evaluation process by suspending the controversial highway construction, which is located in Amazon Forests and is also going from the Tipnis National Park, where local people live.
The representatives of the three main native Amazon tribes living from the region say that the 305-kilometer highway will negatively affect the hidden forest protection area.
The processing process is followed by international observers. At the end of the process, the Amazon protection areas where locals live will continue to protect from development projects.
