Teens Output Environment!]]

]]] [[T][4][[T]]In order to reveal young people's commitment to environmental problems and to make solutions to these problems, Turkey's Environmental Protection and Greenization (TÜRÇEK) and Sabanci University’s Social Responsibility Projects have been organized since 2002 “Akasya – National Youth Summit”. [[

The 4th assessment report, was announced, and the report was removed in which people are responsible for global warming. After this statement, the environment entered our daily lives much more effective and important. Young people who have created the Akasya Platform have difficulties of "Iklim Change" by meeting the peaks they organized this year.

6. Akasya Summi Tags[
On the first day of the peak held on the Tuzla Campus of Sabanci University on 20-22 April 2007, climate change, climate-related natural disasters, climate change and NGO issues were carried out. In the conversation, TÜRÇEK, ITU Eurasian Institute of Sciences, REC Turkey, UNDP Turkey Representative, TEMABILITIES with various proxies. On the last part of the day, Jasmine Sungur and Turhan Çömez’s interviews were included. [

The second part of the body started with the session of “Continuous change and Turkey”. TÜRÇEK, Namık Kemal University, Boğaziçi University, Environmental and Forest Ministry lies within walking distance of Turkey. Then the UNDP Turkey present presentations of various institutions such as Tuzla Youth Center, TÜRÇEK, Sustainable Live Projects, Young TEMA, Nature Association, Şırnak Youth Working Group Association. “Environment, Politics, Youth” panel was held in the last part of the day.

Seminer is included in the events such as panel, exhibition and concert on the environment, and the appropriate involved in the peak of many environmental organizations and surrounding clubs, vehicles and organizations, are awarded the Akasya participation Certificate.

6. AaUppercase This date is celebrated as “World Day” every year in the world. The World Day is based on the big miting and action, which express concerns about 2 million people’s environmental problems in the US on 22 April 1970. The history of action was announced as “World Day”. [

Why Acacia?
] was decided2002 to name Akasya while selecting the name for the platform. There are two different places behind this decision. A tree that fits deathlessness of the wood of the wood, so it was thought to be very good, especially for the environment, the concept of “excipability” which is quite important today.
