1,1 billion people live in multi-dimensional poverty
The amazing Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the 2024 Global Multi-Distinence Index (OPHI) by Oxford University Absusulluk and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) report, based on 1,1 billion people across the globe live in multi-dimensional failure. 40% of this population are in conflict or inconsistent areas. The rate of poor people living in conflict regions is about three times more than in comparison to unaffected countries. Turkey has not been included in the Global Multi-Dimension Index of 2024 due to lack of data.

Around the world, 45 million people live in countries where they have active conflicts and violence environments. This situation reverses the process by blocking of poverty. This poor population living in conflict areas faces very large restrictions in access to basic services.
