World record from India: 49 million trees per 24 hours
India signed an important record under the work of fighting climate change. The most crowded state of the country planted more than 800.000 volunteers in Uttar Pradesh 24 hours. It is aimed to reduce the carbon emission of the country with 80 different types of trees planted.
[[T][4] According to the news contained in the National Geographic, this record is closely related to India’s Paris Agreement targets. India agreed to invest $12 billion in reforestation of country lands with its signed agreement. If India reaches this goal, in 2030, 29% of country soils will be covered with forests. Thus, a significant step will be taken to reduce carbon emissions while the forest losses experienced in the past centuries. ]
The previous record was owned by 847.275 trees planted in 2013.
