What is the case in the anniversary of the Paris Climate Agreement?

The fight against traditional warming and climate change is located in the agenda of world countries since the beginning of 1990s. The United Nations Climate Change Framework Agreement (UNFCCC) signed in 1992, was the first global picture step to address climate change. And an annual forum was created under the name of the Parties Conference (COP) annually through this contract. COPs gave birth to Kyoto Protocol, the first legal binding climate agreement in 1997. The Kyoto Protocol, which requires a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions of advanced countries under 1990 levels, leaves out the most carbon release countries such as China and India, as it does not bind emerging countries.

First measurement will be held in 2023]
In Paris with COP21 in December 12, 2015, the most important climate change agreement has been signed. The agreement that requires that all countries are committed to reducing the carbon release is aimed to limit the global warming with 2 centigrade degrees according to the industrialization of the global warming (about 150 years before), or even retain 1.5 degrees Celsius. The agreement aims to zero carbon release in the second half of the 21st century. Only Eritre is planned to measure the development of Iran, Libya and Yemen in reaching the goals of a country every 5 years. The first measurement is aimed at 2023. However, there is no binding mechanism for countries to achieve their designated goals. [

The last 150 years the temperature increased by 1.1 degrees]
Based on the report published in 1998 as the United Nations organ, the Intergovernmental Climate Change Panel (IPCC) in 2021, the average temperature of the world increased more than 800 thousand years by increasing 1.1 centigrade degrees in the last 150 years. The report prepared by two hundred scientists revealed that even if they quickly reduce the carbon emissions of the countries, in 20 years, the temperature of the world will increase at least 1.5 degrees Celsius. This increase will lead to hot air waves, drought and floods, sea water level rise, 90 percent of coral rocks in the oceans, the water is more acidic, the melting of frosts in the poles, the disappearing of many plant and animal species. If the temperature rise reaches 2 degrees Celsius, the results will be much more serious. The promises given in Paris are behind the agreement targets. According to Climate Action Tracker (CAT) created by German-based non-profit Climate Analytics and NewClimate Institute organizations, the temperature rise in 2100 will be 2.4 degrees Celsius, as a result of the levels of reducing the carbon release of the countries in Paris Treaty. According to the current climate policies and carbon release levels, the temperature rise in 2100 is 2.6 degrees Celsius, countries will be at least 2.1 degrees, even against the targets they update in 2030 and later. If at least 140 countries reach zero carbon release target, the temperature rise in 2100 will be 1.8 degrees Celsius.

Carbon emission to the lowest countries 'sounds and dyan fund'
On the other hand, the COP27 peak, held in Egypt on November 6-20, remained insufficient in the point of producing policies in the reduction of carbon release, while at least carbon swings were found in significant steps on the establishment of the ‘peer’ fund for emerging countries affected by global warming. The U.S. and other developed rich countries that have made up of carbon emissions have been approved in COP27 for a long time. The details of the Fund will be finalized in COP28, which will be held in the United Arab Emirates (BAE). COP27 also called to update application and priorities to development banks.

]100 billion dollars support promised
COP27, which maintained the goal of 1.5 centigrade temperature rise in Paris Agreement, although it did not provide measures that will save momentum at lowering carbon release. While reducing the use of coal in COP27, reduction of all fuels was not taken into the agenda. In 2009, advanced countries support the struggle policies of developing countries with climate change and do not yet carry out 100 billion dollars each year.
