Vodafone converts e-solids and opens coding class
Vodafone’s project “These Wastes Code Summer” in order to electronic encouragement wastes (e-waste). According to the explanation; Vodafone, aiming to halt the environmental impact from operations to 2025 in the world, continuing its work to reduce environmental footprint in Turkey. Vodafone has launched the ‘These Wastes Code Summer’ project in order to promote electronic waste extruder and create awareness about it. With the income from the force of the e-waste, Mardin, Samsun, Adana and Gaziantep, Vodafone will build more coding classes in 3 provinces as of the end of November. Vodafone’s Uşak A September Primary School, Bingöl 100. Opening classes in Middle School and Çanakkale Mahmudiye Primary School can be used for free by all children who want to learn codin g. The classes to be implemented in the ‘Semi Coders’ project conducted with Vodafone Foundation and Habitat will serve as EBA support points.

Vodafone Turkey Executive Board Vice President Hasan Ssel add that they work with the aim of becoming a ‘purpose-oriented company’: “As Vodafone, we promised all over the world; we will touch 1 billion people from 2025 and we will halt our environmental impact from our operations. We aim to reduce our total greenhouse gas by 2025 percent of Turkey and to recycle our entire network from 100 percent of foreign sources and 100 percent of e-waste. In this context, we realized the ‘These Wastes Code Summer’ project to ensure the correctness of e-waste and create awareness on this matter. We build coding class to school with revenue from the force of the e-wastes we collect. To date, we opened certificates in Mardin, Samsun, Adana and Gaziantep. Now we are preparing to open coding classes in Bingöl, Çanakkale and Uşak. Our coding classes will wealth as EBA support points to support remote training. Vodafone collects the e-concillations brought from the work of employees and business partners with the 'This Wastes Code Summer' project and provides the insurance company to be delivered by the Academy Environment. With the income derived from switches, ‘Semi Coders’ project is installed in school coding class. The project was collected in May 2019 in different points of Turkey. Mardin Sakarya Aycan Masatekin Primary School, Samsun Primary School, Adana Sarıçam Furler Middle School and Gaziantep Trade Exchange Middle School. Vodafone Business Digitalization, which allows Turkey to promote Vodafone’s corporate solutions, where they go to the project by electronic collector waste in cities. On the other hand, as of January 2020, Vodafone’s corporate partners started to collect e-waste with the support of more than 3 thousand 700 employees in offices located in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Adana, Antalya and Bursa.
