TEMA AND Nestle continues to collaborate for efficiency in production

The collaboration of the TEMA Foundation with Nestlé DAMAK was held since 2011 and in the production of Antep nuts in the Southeast Anatolia Region, the project was passed to the second stage from the beginning of 2014. In the second stage covering the project between 2014-2018, the experience and accumulations obtained at the first stage will be provided by the widespreadization of yield and quality increase in the country's economy of Antep nuts is aimed at creating significant value.

49% increase in productivity per network, 24% increase in the rate of scoring, the increase in yield by neighboring gardens is aimed at achieving more number of farmers if the project is planned for 5 years.. At the second stage of the project, the reflection of the yield and quality increase provided with the sustainable production applications applied to the manufacturer will be carried out in order to produce solutions to the problems that affect the efficiency and quality of the waste and to protect trees with its monumental value.

The second stage of the project was planned in 2015. Accordingly, this year will be given the training of the cultivation of Antep nuts to the farmers, the example will be informed by organizing trips to project gardens, informing meetings on the Plain of Barak, vaccination and budama trainings will be given when the Antep in the Public Education Center.
