Central will research in the field of solar energy technologies, conduct national and international projects.
The center, which will organize courses, conferences, seminars, competitions, congresses, symposiums, will support the research activities of university members.
The Center, which will cooperate with national and international organizations in line with the targets, will provide research, review, consultancy services in areas where public and private sector needs, will give scientific opinion, prepare reports and develop national and international cooperation in accordance with its purpose. The management bodies of the center will consist of the Central Manager, Central Board and Central Advisory Board.
[The Central Manager will be assigned to 3 years by the Rector of the faculty in the METU. As a member of the expert lecturers in the field of METU, one or more people are assigned to the Central Manager k.
The Central Executive Board will consist of four members to be assigned by the Rector among the teaching elements involved in the activities of the Centre in the Central Manager and METU. The task time of the Central Board will be three years. The Central Advisory Board will consist of representatives of the public and private sector organizations related to the subject, in order to get advice and thoughts on the areas and topics required by the Central Board.
