"Organicians" will be collected in Istanbul

The world’s most effective, most respected and promised organization in the ecological agriculture International Organic Agriculture Movements Federation IFOAM, in the general board made in South Korea, decided to be realized in Istanbul under the home of the 2014 General Assembly and Congress’s Wheat Ecological Life Supporting Association. The decision was voted at the General Assembly Meeting of IFOAM.

As a result of the initiatives of Victor Ananias, founder of the Wheat Association, who lost his lives in the past March, the process started with the adoption of the candidate city of Istanbul, in the general assembly made in South Korea, was decided by the presentation of the Wheat Association team. Wheat was an intensive study in 2014 to realize IFOAM Congress in Turkey and contribute to the prevalence of organic agriculture. Victor Ananias, a pioneering role in the ecological agriculture movement, has a great share in the acquisition of this decision.

IFOAM, headquartered in Germany Bonn, was founded in 1972, aiming to gather organic farming movement under a roof, to guide its development healthyly, prepare the necessary standard and regulations and transfer all developments to its members, farmers.

IFOAM, which is the only international structure feature with the facilities provided by organic production, is trying to contribute to the creation of policies that will guide the future of organic agriculture by discussing strategies in the general assembly meeting carried out in every three years.
