Forests Do Not Burning Tomorrow!!!

TEMA Foundation held a press conference on forest fires in Antalya. In the meeting, 93% of Turkish forests were natural, and only 1% of this rate in the EU.

TEMA Foundation evaluates that it is important vital living experiences to be taken from the large forest fire that has been experienced in Antalya and continues for days. In Turkey, forest fires have been around yesterday, and today, tomorrow. The problem is not the emergence of forest fires. The problem is basically the reduction of forest fires by bringing the right explanations to cause fires, violence and spread.

]

? Structural properties of forests,
? Climate conditions,
? The nature of forest-halk relations,
? Forestry policies, [
? Forestry applications and
? “perfection” strategies with walking forest fires increase the possibilities of forest fires
].

because;

]

? The global climate change is clear that drought and meteorological conditions increase the risk of forest fires, and in the coming days, this risk will be increased. [
? Turkey is one of the Mediterranean countries in terms of fire. The coastal band from Mediterranean and Aegean beaches to Istanbul is the most risky region in terms of forest fires. This area of 12 million hectar size corresponds to 58% of our country forests.
? The total of 96 million acres, which constitutes 45,4% of our forests, are red and black forests that can burn the easiest.
? Approximately 45 million acres of forests, the accumulation of flammable substances, hence the highest level of the possibility of fires reached 30-40 years, the new grown forests.
? Our 7-8 million villagers who live in the village for 16 thousand squares built in the forest and in the end of the forests or nearby the agricultural and livestock activities.

Solution;

? More meaningful, detailed and continuous database should be created, research
! [
? Managed structure should be renewed; staff and vehicle-select hardware should be improved! Weight should be given to forestry applications that can reduce the possibility of forest fire!
? Our citizens must be peaceful with our forestry!

As seen in the fire of Antalya, the Governorship of the Forest Organization Employees and Turkish Armed Forces, Municipalities, Firefighters, Civil Defense struggles to fight the lives of forest and agricultural fires that come up with life. TEMA Foundation celebrates and celebrates to everyone in this struggle.

In recent years, the awareness and sensitivity of the protection of natural assets is increasing, especially our forests. In the framework of this consciousness and sensitivity, the scientific and technologically assisted struggle will ensure that forest fires and damage may be minimized. Let’s forget, never and never was the tree community that came from the forest side Tags. Forest soil protects water, makes thousands of live evapority, reduces carbon emissions, produces large part of oxygen we breathe, has a rich biological variety. 93% of our country forests are natural. This figure in the European Union is only 1%. And no forest created by the man hand, can never be replaced by the natural one. We expect all our citizens to keep the sensitivity they show about our forests.
