Electric Vehicles Emissions Up To 2035% Reduced
SHURA Energy Transformation Center’s ‘Translation Industry Transformation: Integration of Electrical Tools to Turkey Networks’ report has been published. In the report taken into account the importance of transition to electricalization of the transport sector, the effects of increased e-mobility on the grid infrastructure was analyzed. According to the SHURA Net-Class Scenario, Turkey has to reach a net zero emissions in 2053 and to meet the required electrification level in the transportation industry, it is necessary to have 11 million electric vehicles from 2035. Thus, the reduction of 41 percent in emissions caused by passenger vehicles is calculated and the total carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions will be reduced to 20 million tons.
] renewable energy integration with smart charging
[[T]]According to theRapora, 11 million electric vehicles including light service tools are predicted that Turkey needs 10 more Medium Voltage/Alçak Voltage (OG/AG) transformer investment and 16 percent OG line investment. Light duty vehicles are required to invest in more than 3 percent Medium Voltage/Alçak Voltage transformer and 5 percent more Medium Voltage line to Base Script, which estimates the integration of 5 million electric vehicles by 2035. According to the report taken into account the renewable energy integration of smart charging, in this way, the use of renewable energy in the charging of electric vehicles is distributed, renewable energy drinks can feed and more renewable energy can be integrated into the system. [[[T]] [[
[Number of electric vehicles 80 thousand 735
]]] [email protected]Also according to the report, in the case of the application of flexibility impossible to enable intelligent charging, the effect of electric vehicle charging on distribution systems can be avoided, potentially the grid investments can be delayed or reduced. The total number of electric vehicles in the stock last year is 40 million, while the number of batteries electric vehicles in Turkey is 80 thousand 735, the number of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles is 5 thousand 906.

] SHURA Energy Transformation Center Director Alkım Bağ Gullu, in the assessment of the report, given the global clear zero targets, electrification expressed that is the most effective strategy to reduce emissions in the transportation industry and improve energy efficiency. Gullu said that transportation is the third sector that consumes more energy after industrial and buildings in Turkey, "The highest sector of refugees on the other hand. Based on 22 percent of the CO2 emissions of Turkey is responsible and more than 90 percent of this are caused by land road transportation. The transition to the electric chamber for the carbonization of the transport sector is located in the district. "
