COP29: Standards for BM Carbon Mechanism
In the pre- COP29 meetings held in Baku, the new BM Carbon Crediting Mechanism developed under the Paris Agreement was accompanied by critical standards to gain jobs. In accordance with the Article 6.4 of the Paris Agreement, the Supervisory Board, which is responsible for creating the BM carbon market, adopted the necessary standards for relaxation and greenhouse gas costs.

These standards are now accepted as auditing Board documents and have been updated in compliance with market transfer. This is a guide for project developers to prepare and register to their projects to Paris Agreement Crediting Mechanism.
