WWF-Turkey (Natural Life Protection Foundation) and Water Products Cooperatives Central Union (Sur-Koop) signed a Technical Cooperation Protocol for Small Scale Fishing in order to strengthen the awareness of small-scale fishermen's management processes. Protocol WWF-Turkey’s Croatia, Spain, Italy and Tunisia included in the international “Akdeniz’s Small Scale Fisherman” project. The small-scale fishing, which is called a day-to-day fishing activity with passive hunting tools in nearby areas with small vessels from 12 meters, has an important place in terms of the well-being of coastal communities, which provide its late fishing.
