Increased geopolitical tensions in the report stand out as the largest threats on environmental crisis, social polarization and technological risks, stability and progress. State-based armed conflicts are defined as the most urgent global risk for 2025, dezenformation and environmental risks are at the beginning of short and long-term threats. The state-based armed conflicts in the study were assessed as the most critical risk of 2025 by 25 percent of participants. This situation creates serious effects on global supply chains, energy safety and economic stability, not only human crisis.
